Nati Cerutti

Argentine artist, born in 1991. 

Live and work Barcelona.  

Through multiple collaborations with artists, mentors and producers I develop my sound.

My approach as an artist comes from the core of sound and extends to many forms and experimental experiences, including performance, sound art, installation, sculpture and new media  navigate different realms, both digital and analog.

Through various processes of sound recording, synthesis, sound scoring, spatial sound, improvisation, and text/sound composition, I creates immersive and raw atmospheres of technology. My conceptual art production is defined by the expression of complex thought and maximum experimentation. Using a mix of sonic pulses, voice manipulations, raw and dark sounds, she creates blurry states of change. Each project I did was a experience for the people that come as public. 

For me, since years is very important to generate concepts and use technology, while doing music.  

I have a degree in Audio Recording and Production from Tecson University, Buenos Aires. 

After studying I lived and worked in Berlin, from 2017 till 2020. 

In general most of my projects includeds: Record (ambience, voice, noise, etc), voice manipulation, frequency modulation, synthesis of sound, graphic score, looping, AI, multi sampling, sound crafting all of this I defined after a lot of work as sound art or sound for specific installations. 

I exhibited my work around the world, including Festival Mira (Barcelona), Sentimental Punk at CTM (Special Kotti Shop #30 - Berlin), La Radio (Barcelona) and London Design Festival ( London), Suicide Circus (Berlin), El Gran Vidrio (Argentina), FREEHOME (Berlin),etc.

My music was released by: Ghost City Collective (Italy), Grounders Music (Bcn), Edited Arts (London) and participated in international and online radio shows like Refuge Radio, Retreat Radio, Moustache Radio, Hello Strange, etc. 

I have been artist of residences programs in: International Art Camp (2016-Hungary, Baja), Agora Collective (2016-Berlin ), Random House (Palazzo Marcello,2017-Venice), ENDA École nationale d'art - (Session XIX 2020-2021 -Paris) and last I did was in 2022 at Tristinika Beach- Ecovillage, Greece

In 2019, the Music Conservatory Berutti, give me a recognition and in 2020, during pandemic, I received the support of “El Fondo National de Arte” in Argentina. 

Apart from my career as artist, I worked in Berlin as an art advisor for Subculture Collective, co-founded in 2012 a bar/club called Fruta in Cordoba, Argentina. 

In the present I work in my personal project called ROT, a collective for sound artists to create immersive experiences.
